Lookup and Modify Users

Use this feature to edit, lock or unlock users, or activate or deactivate a user over a longer period of time.

Edit a User

1.Click ( [the current user name] the current user name) > [Settings] Settings > [Administration Settings] Administration Settings > [Lookup Users] Lookup Users under the Administration Settings section.

The Lookup Users page is divided into Active Users at the top of the screen, and Inactive Users below.

1.The Active, Inactive, and Modify users areas only appear after you click Search.

2.Click [Edit] Edit next to the user whose setting you want to change. The Modify User page populates with that user’s information.

3.Note:

Users with access to more than one company only see the Departments for the company to which they are logged in.

Changing the email address on this page affects the user’s user name.

4.Click [Modify User] Modify User to save the changes.

Unlock or Lock a User

1.Click ( [the current user name] the current user name) > [Settings] Settings > [Administration Settings] Administration Settings > [Lookup Users] Lookup Users under the Administration Settings section.

2.The Lookup Users page is divided into Active Users at the top of the screen, and Inactive Users below.

3.The Status column displays the user’s current lock status. If they are locked out, then this column is marked "Locked." If they are not locked out then it is marked "Unlocked."

4.Click [Locked] Locked. The status changes to [Unlocked] Unlocked. The user can now access the GATEWAY. To lock a user, click the [Unlocked] Unlocked status.

Activate or Deactivate a User Long Term

1.Click ( [the current user name] the current user name) > [Settings] Settings > [Administration Settings] Administration Settings > [Lookup Users] Lookup Users under the Administration Settings section.

2.The Active column displays the activity status of the users. Click [Activate] Activate in a specific user’s row to activate the user, or "Deactivate" to deactivate the user.

The next time this page is opened, the user’s name is listed in the "Active Users" (if the user was activated) or "Inactive Users" (if the user was deactivated) section of the page.
