Automated reports and automated alerts are set up with customized criteria that is scheduled to be emailed to designated recipients at predefined intervals. Both automated reports and automated alerts can be sent automatically to up to 50 predefined email addresses. This does not include the default user’s address. Up to 10 reports and 20 alerts can be automated per user login. Each automated report and automated alert can also be assigned a unique name.
Automated reports are existing reports that are customized by selecting filter information from the Filter pane. The report that is open is the report that becomes automated.
Automated alerts verify that a selected vehicle or operator metric has met the specified criteria. Only if the criteria is met, is an email sent to the selected email addresses. Any alert-type can be created from any report. Alert types are selected from a drop-down list when the alert is created.
The Dashboard itself can be automated and downloaded as an automated report. A Dashboard automated report counts as a single report. Certain reports cannot be automated, such as drill down reports.
Tip:
To send automated reports and alerts to more than the allotted number of emails, make one of the recipients an email address on a distribution list.
1.Click the Automate feature at the top of most reports to create automated reports and alerts.
2.Click the + in the upper right of the report. Select [Automate] Automate.
