This report shows the top parts and at what cost. The table at the top of the screen shows the top most parts used (user defined quantity) and how many. The bottom table shows the parts usage and replacement that cost the most.

To access this report, click [Maintenance] Maintenance > [Coats] Costs > [Cost Reports] Cost Reports > [Parts Usage] Parts Usage. Make your filter selections, then click [Update Report] Update Report to display the new data.

Suggested Uses

Quick overview of top parts replaced and the cost for the specified date range

Identify parts being replaced too frequently

Identifies when a part is being replaced prematurely. For example, if the tire life expectancy on a forklift is 2000 hours and the tires are being replaced every 1500 hours. This report can help identify that the tires have another 500 hours of use which reduces tire costs by 25%.

Assists the supervisor on when to stock up on frequently used supplies.

Cheaper, generic parts are being replaced. This could determine whether better quality parts should be purchased.

Higher costs might identify that too much money is being spent on a particular part.
