Impacts Module

Impacts enables vertical and horizontal recorded impacts to be viewed remotely. The recorded impact levels are classified as a warning or an alert. For example, a recorded, low intensity impact made by an operator can be considered a warning level impact. A higher intensity impact can be considered an alert level impact. It is important to note that impacts are detected because of trucks driving over dockplates, rough floors, and as a result of chunked tires. The system’s sensitivity can be adjusted.

Impacts Reports

Impacts reports show the date, time, model, operator, impact type, and supervisor comments. You can select the number of operators to view and the recorded impact type to analyze. The following Impacts reports are available:

This bar report shows all impact warnings and alarms for all impacts in all vehicle families. It displays the number of impacts (y-axis) for each vehicle family (x-axis) for a selected date range.

This report identifies the top and bottom vehicles by number of recorded impacts. The data grid lists the vehicles and a summary of the recorded impacts.

This report pinpoints vehicles with more impacts per deadman hours compared to other vehicles. A scatter plot shows each vehicle’s impacts per deadman hours in relationship to the company’s average impacts per deadman hours. The points in the graph are color coded according to how far they are from the average impacts per deadman.

This chart report highlights trucks with operators who are driving well or not well in terms of the ratio of impacts per deadman hours. The report displays the impacts per deadman hour (y-axis) by each vehicle (unit number, x-axis).

This list report identifies vehicles by the number of recorded impacts.

This column chart report highlights operators who are performing well in terms of impacts, or who are under performing. It also displays the impacts per deadman hour (y-axis) by each operator (x-axis).

This report identifies the top and bottom operators by number of recorded impacts. The data grid includes the operators plus a summary of the recorded impacts.

This scatter plot report pinpoints operators with more impacts per deadman hours compared with other operators. The report shows each operator’s impacts per deadman hours in relationship to the company’s average impacts per deadman hours. This bubble chart report identifies the areas where impacts have been recorded. It displays the number of recorded impacts (y-axis) by the number of deadman hours (x-axis).

This graph report identifies the average number of impacts that occurred per deadman hour within one hour increments over the date range selected in the Filter pane.

This report provides a filterable list of all impacts that occurred within the date range down to the second, which truck they occurred on, who was operating the truck, the direction of impact (vertical or horizontal), and the impact force. Impact comments can also be added.

This line chart report identifies the trend impacts are taking. It can be broken down by total, facility, or vehicle type. The report shows the number of impacts, alarms, or warnings by date. Impacts should go down until they reach a minimal number.

This scatter plot report shows the force value of all impacts (horizontal, vertical or both) reported to the GAETWAY within the selected date range.

This drill down detail report provides the date, time, serial and unit numbers, vertical and horizontal force, severity, and supervisor comments for an operator for the specified date range.

This drill down report displays how many warning or alarm impacts per deadman hour the selected vehicle had per operator during the selected date range.

This drill down report breaks down the locations into individual operators per location, and displays the warning or alarm impacts for each operator per deadman hour for the selected date range.

This drill down report displays how many warning or alarm impacts each operator had per unit and per deadman hour for the selected location and date range.
